Hot Wheels

These invitations were created for our very own off spring! Though I must admit designing a hot wheels themed party would not be my number one choice, it’s what my little guy wanted and we all want to give our kids exactly what they want- right! This design is a perfect example of how we can incorporate jpeg images into our designs when the design in need may be a main stream licensed graphic like so…
He specifically wanted Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, a popular tv show right now.

And this is my son after all, so of course it did not end there! I’m sure I had all the fellow kindergarten parents wondering just what in the heck I was thinking when they received an invitation to a 6 year olds birthday party which included enclosures!

calendar reminder
With the school year coming to a close, my son’s party was a way out from the time he had to pass out his invitations. So to put my mind at ease that not everyone would forget, I created calendar reminder stickers.
To create calendar markers, I simply printed a card and attached a small round sticker. To create stickers simply print on full sheet label and as with all our round designs, punch with a round paper punch. I then attached the sticker to the card with a glue dot and voila, your guests now have a sticker to put right on their calendar so they don’t forget your event!And to finish off the perfect invitation, a name sticker and envelope seal were placed on each envelope.

Another Printable Pocketfold Set- Introducing our Audrey design

Here is another set we created for an envelopments pocketfold, this time for a 5×5 square pocket. It’s available in a set which includes your invitations and 3 side cards, a bellyband and a seal. We encourage you to check out how much dealers like envelopments charge for your cards compared to what you would pay doing the printing yourself. You will be AMAZED at how much you will save, a little DIY makes your pennies go a long way!
The invitation design is available on it’s own as well which looks great alone or paired with a portable slide pocket. The single invite is great for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, showers and everything in between!

Print Your Party is having a baby…

Well, one of us is! Katie, my sister-in-law (and other half of PYP) is due to have her 2nd son in April. I have been having so much fun designing printables for her baby shower. Here is a sneak peek of the design that will grace her shower. Check back next month to see photos of the “Real PYP” event and all the coordinating printables.
There is noting more classic then a stork for a baby shower theme. And while it’s classic, it was a little too old fashion for my taste. I modernized this stork in what I simply call our “birdie stork” design. This new design will soon be available at PYP .
This invitation is a perfect example of how you can use your imagination to further personalize our printables. They can be embellished with ribbon and gems matted on textured papers, or in this case made 2 dimensional with the addition of a cloud cut out- the sky is the limit!
I then cut a small slit along the belly of the birdie to insert my cloud cut out…
I slid the cloud punch into the belly of the birdie…
And then secured it by sticking a white round sticker to the back. When is comes to finishing work we always recommend trying to find the most finished look possible. While gluing an entire sheet of card stock to the back would have created the most finished look, let’s be honest, that would have been quite time consuming. Scotch tape would have been messy and unsightly, so I opted for the round sticker, it blends with the back and is nice and neat.
And of course I created a coordinating seal. This envelope seal doubles as a return address label…
Again using a uchida punch, this time a 1.5 round punch. This is how we recommend you punch out all of our round designs. They come out perfect every time and it’s easy as pie!
