tips

Printing…

-Make sure your printer is set to “do not scale.”

-Set your print resolution to medium to help conserve ink.

-Worried your printer is not up for the job? Don’t be- Send your files to your local copy store or email them out for mail order printing.

Cutting…

{Straight edged designs}

-Use a paper cutter! Not only does it make for a perfect and easy cut, it is a huge time saver if you have a lot to cut. If you don’t own a paper cutter you can use one at your local copy store free of charge.

-For a rounded corner, use a corner round punch after cutting the edges.

{Round designs}

- Use a craft punch! I can’t speak highly enough of this great tool. Craft punches are available at most craft stores in a variety of sizes and they are available in a scalloped edge too. See “craft punches” in my “recommends” for more information.

Assembling…

{Adhesive}

A few of our printable products such as cones and cocktail umbrellas require an adhesive. When needed, we love to use glue tape rollers. Glue tape rollers can be found just about anywhere, it comes in an easy to use dispenser and rolls on a perfect line of adhesive tape that dries instantly. Scrapbooking glue dots work great as well. Both are available at your local craft store and can be found at Target as well.

{Hole Punches}

When creating tags, use a small sized hole punch; standard hole punches punch a large hole, which can interrupt your design. We recommend using a 1/8” size punch, which perfectly fits 1/8” ribbon, perfect for the averaged sized favor tag.

Finishing Touches…

{Paper finish}

There are so many great choices for paper. Visit your local craft store to check out different textures, finishes, weights and colors.

*You can also print on kraft bags, magnet sheets, window cling and iron on transfer paper!

{Embellishing}

Kick up the glam factor on your printable items by embellishing them. Add ribbon, glitter, and rhinestones, anything you wish to really make your party sparkle.
